실시간 원격 화상 한국어 강의에서의 상호작용에 대한 학습자와 교사 인식 연구
본 연구의 목적은 한국어 교육기관에서 이루어지고 있는 실시간 원격 화상 한국어 교육에서의 상호작용에 대한 학습자와 교사의 인식을 분석하여 향후 다양한 상호작용을 보장하는 강의의 개발 방향을 모색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 실시간 원격 화상 강의에서의 상호작용 분석 기준을 마련하고 실시간 원격 화상 한국어 강의 경험이 있는 학습자 74명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며 5명의 교사를 인터뷰하였다. 분석 결과, 학습자는 실시간 원격 화상 강의에서의 학습자-인터페이스 상호작용, 학습자-내용 상호작용, 학습자-교사 상효작용이 대체로 잘 이루어지고 있다고 느끼고 있었으며 학습자 간의 상호작용에 대해서는 타 상호작용에 비하여 부족하다고 느끼고 있었다. 또한 교사들은 수업 과정 전반에서 상호작용의 한계를 느끼고 있다고 응답하였다. 본 연구에서는 이를 토대로 수업 환경 개선과 실시간 원격 화상 강의에 적합한 평가 방안 개발, 학습자 간의 상호작용을 증대시키기 위한 장치와 학습자 동기 유발을 위한 장치 마련, 비실시간 상호작용의 확대, 원활한 실시간 원격 화상 강의를 위한 교사 교육을 제안하였다.
A Study on Learners’ and Instructors’ Perceptions of Interaction in Real-time Distance Korean Language Video Lectures
This study aims to suggest ways to enhance interaction in real-time distance Korean language video lectures by analyzing learners’ and instructors’ awareness of interaction in Korean language education institutes. Thus, this study proposed criteria for the analysis of interaction in real-time distance video lectures. Further, 74 learners who had experience in real-time distance Korean language video lectures were surveyed, and five instructors who participated in real-time distance Korean video lectures were interviewed. The results of this survey show that learners scored high on learner-interface, learner-content, and learner-instructor interactions. Conversely, learner-learner interactions were comparably rated low. In addition, teachers reported that interactions is limited in real-time distance video education classes compared to in personal classes. Consequently, we suggest ways to improve the online classroom environment, develop suitable evaluation methods for real-time distance Korean language video lectures, increase interaction among learners, motivate learners’ and expand non real-time interaction between teachers and learners. We also delineate the need to fomulate adequate teacher training programs regarding real-time distance Korean language video lectures.
