이탈리아 한국어 교육의 현황과 과제 - 베네치아 카포스카리 대학교를 중심으로 -
본 연구는 베네치아 카포스카리 대학교를 중심으로 이탈리아 한국어 교육의 현황과 과제를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이탈리아에서 한국어 전공이 설치된 대학 중 베네치아 카포스카리 대학교는 최근 몇 년간 질적, 양적으로 가장 두드러진 성장을 보였다. 본 연구에서는 베네치아 카포스카리 대학교의 현황을 살펴보고 해결해야 할 몇 가지 문제점을 제시하였는데 그 중에서 가장 중요한 문제는 석박사 과정 개설이다. 석박사 과정이 개설되면 한국어 전공자들은 더 깊이 있게 한국어를 공부할 수 있고 나아가 전문 연구자 부족 문제도 해결할 수 있을 것이다. 현재 베네치아 대학은 한국어 전공 석사 과정을 개설하기 위해 최선을 다하고 있으며, 머지않아 석사 과정이 개설될 것으로 예상한다. 더불어 이탈리아 내 한국어 교육이 더욱 발전할 수 있기를 기대한다.
Current Status and Tasks of Korean Language Education in Italy - Focus on Ca’Foscari University of Venice -
This study aims to examine the current status and tasks of Korean language education in Italy, with a focus on Ca’Foscari University of Venice. Among the Italian universities that offer a Korean language major, Ca’Foscari University has shown the most growth, both qualitatively and quantitatively, in recent years. This study examines the current state of Ca’Foscari University and issues that need to be addressed, the most important being the establishment of master’s and doctorate programs that would allow Korean language majors to study the language in greater depth and help solve the problem of shortages of professional researchers. Ca’Foscari University is currently exerting great effort to open graduate programs for the Korean language, and expects to open a master’s program in the near future in the hope of further developing Korean language education in Italy.
